Vintage Industrial shelving starts with your wall and works outward — dimensions, configuration, finish, and material all determined by what the space actually needs.

The shelving line spans wall-mounted display shelves, freestanding steel and hardwood units, full wall systems, display cabinets, and modular storage towers. Every piece is hot-rolled steel, hand-selected hardwood, built in the USA. The same steel profiles and joinery language that runs through every Vintage Industrial piece — just configured for vertical storage instead of a tabletop.

Custom Industrial Bookshelves & Wall Units for Every Space

A single floating shelf and a full-height wall unit are built from the same design language. Scale up or down depending on what the wall calls for. A law firm library gets floor-to-ceiling steel and walnut bookshelves with closed lower cabinet sections. A tech headquarters gets open steel display shelving with integrated LED lighting. A residential study gets a mix — open upper sections for display, closed lower sections for storage, a desk surface integrated into the run.

Mix open shelving with cabinet sections, add doors in woven wire mesh or glass, add drawers, add lighting. The configuration is yours. Width, depth, height — all confirmed during your commission conversation. There is no standard size because there is no standard wall.

The steel is hot-rolled and hand-selected for grain and character. Hardwood shelves come in mahogany, white oak, walnut, and maple — each species chosen to complement the steel finish. Natural steel pairs with walnut. Blackened steel pairs with mahogany. Aged paint finish works with any wood species and reads closer to a painted European cabinet than a raw industrial piece.

What shelf dimensions are available?+
Shelf width, depth, and thickness are all customizable. Standard shelf depths run 10″ to 20″. Width and height are determined by your wall and confirmed during your commission conversation. There is no standard size — every piece is built to your dimensions.
Can shelving be wall-mounted or freestanding?+
Both. Wall-mounted shelving attaches to studs or masonry with concealed steel brackets. Freestanding units stand independently and can include casters or architectural legs. Configuration is confirmed during commission.
Can I mix open shelving with closed cabinet sections?+
Yes. Open shelving, mesh cabinet sections, glass cabinet sections, and solid panel sections can be combined in any configuration across a single run. Door inserts — woven wire mesh, glass, or solid steel — are confirmed at commission.
What steel finishes are available?+
Natural steel, blackened steel, and aged paint finish are standard. Custom paint finishes and color matching are also available.
What wood species are available?+
Mahogany, white oak, walnut, and maple — all hand-selected for grain and character. Steel shelves are also available for a fully monolithic look.
Can LED lighting be integrated?+
Yes. Interior LED strip lighting can be added to any shelf section — under shelves, along shelf backs, or inside cabinet sections. Wiring and placement are confirmed during commission.
What is the lead time?+
Lead time is 12 or more weeks from commission confirmation. Delivery method — freight curbside or white glove inside placement and assembly — is confirmed during your commission conversation.
