Industrial Executive Desks. Custom-Built in America.
Most executive desks are built to look expensive. Ours are built to be expensive — in the right way.
Every industrial executive desk we make starts as architectural-grade steel and solid American hardwood — Black Walnut, White Oak, Mahogany, or Cherry — and ends as a commission that fits your space, your workflow, and your standard. Nothing comes off a shelf. Nothing ships from overseas. Each piece is hand-welded and finished in our American workshop, built to order in our American workshop. Looking for a height-adjustable option? See our industrial crank tables. Delivered ready to anchor a room for the next thirty years.
We’ve built for Gensler, Google, Four Seasons, MGM, Hilton, and the U.S. Navy. If your desk needs to hold up to that kind of standard, you’re in the right place.
An industrial executive desk is a decision you make once. The desks in this collection are built to reflect that — not as furniture, but as the most permanent fixture in the room. If you’re ready to spec your piece, we’re ready to build it.
Most furniture described as "industrial" is engineered wood with a metal-look finish. Our desks are built from architectural-grade structural steel — hand-welded in our American workshop — paired with solid domestic hardwoods: Black Walnut, White Oak, Mahogany, and Cherry. Every piece is built to order, never off a shelf. The result is a desk that carries real weight — literally and in the room.
We work exclusively with sustainably sourced American hardwoods — Black Walnut, White Oak, Mahogany, and Cherry — paired with architectural-grade steel. Each wood top is hand-selected for grain character. Every finish is applied by hand and sealed with a restaurant-grade topcoat built to withstand decades of daily use. All hardware is sourced to our exact specifications — no off-the-shelf components.
Commissions start at $8,000. Final pricing varies based on dimensions, wood species, steel patina, and complexity of build. We encourage clients to approach a Vintage Industrial commission the way they would any capital asset — something engineered to anchor a space for decades, not seasons. If you have a project in mind, reach out for a quote and we'll scope it properly.
Our typical lead time is three months or more from the time your commission is confirmed. Because every piece is built to order — cut, welded, and finished by hand in our workshop — we do not compress production without compromising the result. If you're working toward a move-in date, an office opening, or a project deadline, we recommend reaching out early. We'll give you an honest timeline before you commit.
Yes — every piece is fully customizable. You choose the dimensions, wood species, steel patina, and surface finish. We can integrate power outlets, USB ports, cable grommets, and drawer configurations into the build. Whether you need a compact personal desk or a 20-foot boardroom table, we work directly with you to spec the right piece for the space — before a single board is cut.
We do — and it's a significant part of what we build. We regularly partner with design firms, architecture studios, law firms, tech companies, and hospitality brands. Past collaborators include Gensler, One Workplace, Hilton, MGM, Four Seasons, Google, and the U.S. Navy. If you're specifying for a commercial project, visit our Trade program page or contact us directly to discuss the scope.
Most pieces ship fully assembled in a custom crate via curbside freight — nationwide. White-glove delivery and installation is available for executive suites, commercial spaces, and clients who prefer assisted placement. Logistics are coordinated directly with you before your piece ships, so nothing arrives without a plan.
What makes a Vintage Industrial executive desk different?+
Every desk is handcrafted in hot-rolled steel and solid hardwood in our USA shop. No flat-pack, no veneers, no laminate. The steel base is welded and ground by hand; the wood top is hand-selected for grain and figure. It is a permanent piece of furniture, not a depreciating office asset.
