Description
The IndustriaLux Sit Stand Crank Desk is the full-depth expression of the IndustriaLux line — the same machine-era silhouette, brass hardware, and dual 8″ crank handles, scaled to a desk that commands a serious workspace. The mechanism is fully mechanical: one turn of either crank handle raises or lowers the surface from seated to standing height. No electricity, no motors, no scheduled maintenance.
The base is handcrafted from hot-rolled steel, hand-selected for grain and character, with brass detailing and polished hardware. Top options include plate steel, solid hardwood — walnut, reclaimed boxcar oak, black lacquered oak, mahogany, and cherry, all hand-selected for figure and grain — glass, and concrete. Optional data ports, cable management, keyboard drawer, and pencil drawer are all available to add to your commission. All hardwood tops include a breadboard end on both sides. Configuration finalized during your commission conversation.
Complete the space with the Vintage Industrial casegoods collection — storage built to the same steel standard.

I’ve seen something that looks exactly like this on another site. Is it the same piece?+
No. Vintage Industrial designs have been copied extensively since 2009, primarily by Asian manufacturers selling through direct-from-China storefronts. The pieces look similar in photos but weigh a quarter of what ours do — they’re not designed to last, they’re designed to sell at a cheap price. Vintage Industrial sells direct only, through retro.net. We have no other sales channels, no third-party retailers, no Amazon storefront. If you’re seeing something like this anywhere else, it’s a counterfeit. Every Vintage Industrial piece is built to order in our Chicago shop by hand, from hot-rolled steel and solid hardwood, with a 12+ week lead time.
