Industrial Executive Desks. Custom-Built in America.

Most executive desks are built to look expensive. Ours are built to be expensive — in the right way.
Every industrial executive desk we make starts as architectural-grade steel and solid American hardwood — Black Walnut, White Oak, Mahogany, or Cherry — and ends as a commission that fits your space, your workflow, and your standard. Nothing comes off a shelf. Nothing ships from overseas. Each piece is hand-welded and finished in our American workshop. Looking for a height-adjustable option? See our industrial crank tables. Delivered ready to anchor a room for the next thirty years.

We’ve built for Gensler, Google, Four Seasons, MGM, Hilton, and the U.S. Navy. If your desk needs to hold up to that kind of standard, you’re in the right place. From the single-monitor home office desk to the eight-foot wraparound executive command station, every configuration begins with your space and workflow — and for the solo founder who simply refuses to sit at something disposable. Commissions start at $8,000. Lead time is typically three months. Request a quote or visit our executive desk size guide to find the right length for your room.

American Made since 2009

Size & Configuration Options

Our executive desks are built in five standard lengths — 5, 6, 7, and 8 feet — and every dimension is adjustable at commission. Fixed-height and height-adjustable crank configurations are both available. Most clients also commission a matching conference table or storage credenza as a coordinated suite.

Not sure which size fits your office? Our executive desk size guide maps desk lengths to room dimensions, chair clearance, and monitor configurations — with scale drawings for each size.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes a Vintage Industrial executive desk different?+
Every desk is handcrafted in hot-rolled steel and solid hardwood in our USA shop. No flat-pack, no veneers, no laminate. The steel base is welded and ground by hand; the wood top is hand-selected for grain and figure. It is a permanent piece, not a purchase.
Can I customize the size?+
Yes. Every dimension is built to your specification — length, depth, height, and leg configuration. We offer standard lengths from 5 to 8 feet, but we build to any size your space requires.
What steel finishes are available?+
Raw steel, blackened patina, clear-coated, and custom painted finishes are all available. Each finish is hand-applied and develops character over time.
What wood species do you offer?+
We work primarily in American Black Walnut, White Oak, Mahogany, and Cherry — all hand-selected for grain and figure. Black Walnut is prized for its rich, authoritative grain; White Oak offers unmatched dimensional stability in climate-controlled offices.
Do you offer height-adjustable executive desks?+
Yes. Our crank-adjustable sit-stand desks use the same hand-welded steel base and solid hardwood top as our fixed-height pieces. The crank mechanism raises and lowers the surface without electronics or motors — it never needs servicing.
What is the lead time?+
Lead time is 12 or more weeks from commission confirmation. Every piece is built to order — nothing is pulled from inventory.
How is delivery handled?+
Standard delivery is freight curbside. White glove service — inside placement, unpacking, and full assembly — is available; delivery method is confirmed during your commission conversation.
How much space do I need around an executive desk?+
Allow at least 36 inches behind the desk for chair clearance, and 48 to 60 inches in front if you plan to have guest seating. For a private office, a minimum room depth of 10 feet is recommended for an 8-foot desk. Our executive desk size guide covers clearance layouts for every standard length.
Can you integrate power and wire management into the desk?+
Yes. We build power grommets, cable channels, and data pass-throughs directly into the desktop and steel base at commission. The I-beam stretchers and leg assemblies act as hidden chases for power and data runs — keeping the surface clean without aftermarket cable trays.
What wood species holds up best in an office environment?+
White Oak is our recommendation for climate-controlled offices — its tight grain and dimensional stability make it highly resistant to movement from HVAC cycling. American Black Walnut is the choice for presence and character. Both are sealed with a restaurant-grade conversion varnish that handles daily commercial use without refinishing.
