The Firehouse Bar Table is a custom industrial bar height table built for restaurants, home bars, and anyone who wants a serious piece at standing height. Three base finishes — natural steel, polished brass, or polished stainless — paired with your choice of hardwood top or steel. Optional foot rail adds comfort for bar seating.

Placed in MGM restaurants and Giorgio Armani retail locations.

One of the heaviest tables we make — approximately 450 lb at 8 ft. Fully customizable in size and finish. Also available as a dining height table.

Description

The Firehouse Bar Table has been one of Vintage Industrial’s most ordered pieces for good reason — it works everywhere. MGM restaurants. Giorgio Armani retail locations. Hotel bars, home bars, country clubs, tech offices. The base is available in three distinct finishes. The top is your choice of premium hardwood or steel. It’s a bar table that doesn’t compromise, and it scales to any size you need.

Three Base Finishes

Natural Steel — Hot-rolled steel, hand-selected for grain and character. The classic Firehouse finish — raw, industrial, and built to last. Shown in natural steel throughout much of the collection.

Polished Brass — The Firehouse base in polished brass. Warmer and richer than natural steel, and a natural pairing with walnut or oak tops. Shown in a modern high-rise setting.

Polished Stainless — Clean, contemporary, and at home in the most modern interiors. Pairs particularly well with a black lacquered oak top for a high-contrast look.

Base Finish Options — Paint

Beyond the metal finishes, the Firehouse base is available in any color in an aged paint finish — the red aged finish shown is one of the most popular. Custom colors in aged finish or high-gloss (non-aged) are available and matched during your commission conversation.

Top Options

Available tops: walnut, white oak, white oak with black lacquer finish, mahogany, maple, cherry, and hot-rolled steel. Top species, finish, and dimensions are finalized during your commission conversation.

Foot Rail

An optional foot rail is available for bar height configurations — a practical addition for bar seating that keeps the piece feeling intentional rather than afterthought. Specified during your commission conversation.

Size, Height, and Weight

The Firehouse is shown at bar height but is fully customizable — dining height, counter height, or bar height. Length and width are built to order. At 8 feet long, the Firehouse weighs approximately 450 lb — it is one of the heaviest tables we build, and you feel it the moment it’s in the room. If you need a 16-foot bar table for a restaurant, we’ve done it.

I’ve seen something that looks exactly like this on another site. Is it the same piece?+
No. Vintage Industrial designs have been copied extensively since 2009, primarily by Asian manufacturers selling through direct-from-China storefronts. The pieces look similar in photos but weigh a quarter of what ours do — they’re not designed to last, they’re designed to sell at a cheap price. Vintage Industrial sells direct only, through retro.net. We have no other sales channels, no third-party retailers, no Amazon storefront. If you’re seeing something like this anywhere else, it’s a counterfeit. Every Vintage Industrial piece is built to order in our Chicago shop by hand, from hot-rolled steel and solid hardwood, with a 12+ week lead time.
