Description
Named After a 19th-Century French Machinist — The Pioneer of Industrial Luxury
Named after the 19th-century French machinist, the Hure base is a masterclass in curvaceous form, reimagined for the 21st-century executive. Since 2009, Vintage Industrial has been the pioneer of American industrial furniture — and the Hure remains our most iconic design, harmonizing brute structural force with refined mechanical precision.
Each base is forged from hand-selected, hot-rolled American steel, chosen specifically for its scale and visual character. The resulting finish is not merely aged — it is a bespoke patina that reveals the raw, organic grain of the metal, a texture that evolves as it catches the light of a boardroom.
Zero Knee-Interference: The Sculptural Foundation
The Hure pedestal design offers uninterrupted collaboration — zero knee-interference at any seating position. Despite its commanding visual mass, the sweeping arcs and balanced proportions create a sense of visual lightness unique to this silhouette. The inset pedestal base comfortably accommodates seating at every position along the table’s full perimeter.
The surface is a hand-selected, premium wood slab, curated for its narrative grain and acoustic warmth. Unlike cold, synthetic surfaces, our solid timber absorbs ambient noise, creating a grounded, focused environment for high-stakes negotiation.
Kinetic Precision: The Original American Crank Conference Table
A versatile height range of 30 to 42 inches — transition from formal seated presentations to dynamic standing scrums with a single turn of the crank. The hand-turned mechanism delivers smooth, precise height adjustment engineered to outlast motorized alternatives.
Built in Our American Workshop
Every piece is cut, welded, and finished by hand. Hot-rolled American steel is hand-selected for grain and character. Solid, sustainably sourced hardwoods are chosen by eye for density and soul.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this table suitable for daily use?+
Yes. Both the top and base are finished with a restaurant-grade sealer built for all-day, everyday use. The steel base is engineered to industrial tolerances, a grade above both commercial and residential furniture. These aren’t display pieces — they’re built for the factory floor, refined for the room.
What wood species are available?+
Standard species are walnut, oak, mahogany, and cherry. All tops are solid, premium, sustainably sourced hardwood, hand-selected for figure and grain. Other species are available on request and finalized during your commission conversation.
What steel finish options are available?+
Natural patina is shown as standard. Black patina and painted finishes are available and finalized during the commission process.
Can I specify the table size?+
Yes — length, width, and height are all adjustable to your room and seating requirements. Dimensions are finalized during your commission conversation.
Are crank-height (adjustable height) options available?+
Yes. Several models are available with a hand-crank mechanism for sit-to-stand height adjustment. If the model you’re considering doesn’t show a crank, ask during your commission — it may be adaptable.
Can I add grommets, data ports, or power access?+
Yes. Cable grommets, data ports, and power access points can be built directly into the top. We’re also happy to work with your AV or IT team during the commission process to make sure everything is spec’d correctly before we build.
What edge profiles are available for the top?+
Live edge, straight, beveled, and other profiles are available depending on the model. Edge style is selected during your commission conversation.
How does the table ship, and what do I need on-site for delivery?+
Tables up to approximately 14 feet ship fully assembled. Larger tables ship with the base and top separated for safe transport and are assembled on-site by the delivery team. Large crates typically require a loading dock or forklift for offloading — if neither is available, let us know during your commission and we’ll work out the right solution.
What is the lead time?+
Lead times are typically 12 weeks or more from deposit, depending on configuration. Your specific timeline is confirmed at the start of your commission.
How is it delivered?+
Standard delivery is freight curbside. White glove service — inside placement, unpacking, and full assembly — is available; delivery method is confirmed during your commission conversation.
