First designed in June of 2011, The Original Crank Desk is the antithesis of the modern, disposable office. While mass-market standing desks rely on sensitive motors and plastic components, the Crank Desk utilizes heavy-duty mechanical gearing to provide a tactile, analog experience. Since 2009, Vintage Industrial has been the pioneer of American industrial furniture, and the Crank Desk remains our most interactive “kinetic” design.

The average weight for an electric sit stand desk is 60-120 lbs, while ours weighs in around 375 lbs.
