Description
The Hure Crank Desk takes the four-point crank mechanism that defines the Hure line and applies it to a desk-scale piece. Four independent 3-ton mechanisms — one at each corner — raise and lower the surface in unison when either crank handle is turned. The engineering is deliberate: four points of support eliminate racking under load and maintain the surface level across the full height range, from desk height to standing height and beyond.
The base is fabricated from hot-rolled steel, hand-selected for grain and character. Top options include plate steel and solid hardwood — all hand-selected for figure and grain.
