The Meridian Concept

    A Monument to Structural Evolution

Redefine the center of your executive suite with The Meridian Concept, a table that exists at the intersection of high-stakes engineering and organic art. This conceptual masterpiece features a “skeletal” cast metal base that mimics the strength of industrial trusses and the complexity of biological structures.

Designed for office professionals who lead with architectural vision and the design trade seeking a centerpiece that defies traditional furniture categories, The Meridian is the ultimate anchor for the modern boardroom.

The Narrative: Supporting the Weight of Big Ideas

The soul of The Meridian lies in its structural honesty. Inspired by the massive supports found in global infrastructure—bridges, skyscrapers, and hangars—this table represents the “meridian” or peak of industrial evolution.

The base features an intricate lattice of hand-finished metal that converges in a cinched center before fanning out to support a massive, crystalline surface. It is a visual metaphor for a successful organization: multiple moving parts working in a complex, unbreakable web of support. By pairing this rugged, “Iron Age” base with a transparent glass top, the mechanical artistry is laid bare, inviting guests to appreciate the craftsmanship from every angle.

Precision Engineering for the Design Trade

For architects and designers, The Meridian Concept solves the problem of how to fill a large space without visually overcrowding it.

    • Architectural Transparency: The thick, tempered glass top allows light to pass through the intricate lattice, maintaining an airy, modern feel in even the most imposing office suites.

    • Biomorphic Industrialism: The hand-applied weathered patina on the cast metal base highlights the raw, honest texture of the material, making it a perfect fit for luxury lofts, brutalist spaces, or minimalist penthouses.

    • Centralized Foundation: The pedestal-style “X” base maximizes legroom for 8 to 10 guests, ensuring that high-level strategy sessions remain as comfortable as they are visually inspiring.

    • Material Versatility: While shown with glass, this concept is engineered to support solid walnut slabs, stone, or even plate steel for a more “Industrial-Refined” aesthetic.

    Key Specifications:

    • Dimensions: Conceptually scaled at 96″ L x 40″ D (Standard Executive Size).

    • Materials: Sculptural cast metal base with a protective clear coat; high-strength tempered glass top.

    • Available Finishes: Natural Steel, Blackened Patina, Burnished Bronze, or High-Luster Aluminum.

    • Applications: Executive boardrooms, high-end residential dining, and architectural lobby installations.

Command the room with a foundation built for the future.

This is a bespoke design concept. Please contact our design studio to discuss custom dimensions, proprietary finishes, and material options for your next project.
