Please note that all wooden tops manufactured by Vintage Industrial include a 3″ – 6″ breadboard on both ends of the table to prevent warping of hardwoods.

This piece is another tribute to the old cast iron machine bases made from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. This base was built to support a large top. The bottom plates are 1 3/8″ thick solid steel which makes it stable for large tops. It’s the heaviest base we’ve made to date and weighs in around 400 lbs, and it has a great vintage patina. It would support a 10′ top well, or use two bases to make a 20′ top.
