Electric Crank Desk

Vintage Industrial has been manufacturing the Crank Desk for 8 years now. This new version uses electric actuators to raise and lower the top instead of the manual hand crank, making it more convenient and less expensive. Simply push the button or use the phone app to take your desk from sitting to standing height, or anywhere in between.

The idea to make adjustable height tables came to be because the owner of VI had bad back problems. Sitting down for long hours aggravated the situation. He noticed when he walked around the pain level decreased. So after switching to an adjustable height desk, his back pain has lowered substantially. Since then many studies have been published showing the health benefits of these desks versus just sitting. And studies have shown that sitting too much is worse than smoking. So we couldn’t just make a plain sit stand desk, it had to be of the highest quality, serviceable, and make a statement.
