Description
An Architectural Heirloom With Intelligent Adjustment
This motorized desk exists for generational inheritance. Every material and mechanism serves permanence—from the hand-selected solid ash surface that develops distinguished patina across decades to the hot-rolled American steel base bearing the mill-scale character of architectural metalwork. Four precision-engineered Linak linear actuators provide effortless height adjustment from seated to standing positions, integrating modern ergonomic intelligence within heirloom construction.
Whisper-Quiet Electric Height Control
Four Linak linear actuators deliver seamless height transitions from 28″ to 42″, responding to push-button controls or Bluetooth-enabled wireless command. Dual power architecture—plug-in operation with integrated battery backup—ensures cordless functionality and continuous operation during power transitions. The motorized system operates in near silence, preserving the contemplative environment essential to focused work.
Materials & Construction
The 72″ × 36″ work surface is crafted from solid ash, sustainably sourced and hand-selected for expressive grain patterns and inherent strength. Its surface accepts the marks of creative practice, developing a refined patina that honors decades of use. The base is fabricated from hot-rolled American steel, hand-selected for the forge-born texture and character that emerges during the rolling process, finished to preserve the material’s authentic expression.
Dimensions Scaled for Permanence
The work surface spans 72″ wide by 36″ deep, with electric adjustment from 28″ seated height to 42″ standing height. At 400 pounds, the assembled desk commands architectural presence. Precision-engineered adjustable levelers accommodate substrate variations. Dual power operation—standard plug-in with battery backup—maintains cordless functionality. Handcrafted in the USA.
Generational Permanence
Every component—from actuator assembly to hardwood joinery—reflects uncompromising American craftsmanship. This is furniture engineered not for replacement cycles, but for inheritance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this table suitable for daily use?+
Yes. Both the top and base are finished with a restaurant-grade sealer built for all-day, everyday use. The steel base is engineered to industrial tolerances, a grade above both commercial and residential furniture. These aren’t display pieces — they’re built for the factory floor, refined for the room.
What wood species are available?+
Standard species are walnut, oak, mahogany, and cherry. All tops are solid, premium, sustainably sourced hardwood, hand-selected for figure and grain. Other species are available on request and finalized during your commission conversation.
What steel finish options are available?+
Natural patina is shown as standard. Black patina and painted finishes are available and finalized during the commission process.
Can I specify the size?+
Yes — length, width, and height range are all adjustable to your space and ergonomic requirements. Dimensions are finalized during your commission conversation.
Can I add grommets, data ports, or power access?+
Yes. Cable grommets, data ports, and power access points can be built directly into the top. We’re also happy to work with your AV or IT team during the commission process to make sure everything is spec’d correctly before we build.
What edge profiles are available for the top?+
Live edge, straight, beveled, and other profiles are available depending on the model. Edge style is selected during your commission conversation.
How does the table ship, and what do I need on-site for delivery?+
Tables up to approximately 14 feet ship fully assembled. Larger tables ship with the base and top separated for safe transport and are assembled on-site by the delivery team. Large crates typically require a loading dock or forklift for offloading — if neither is available, let us know during your commission and we’ll work out the right solution.
What is the lead time?+
Lead times are typically 12 weeks or more from deposit, depending on configuration. Your specific timeline is confirmed at the start of your commission.
How is it delivered?+
Standard delivery is freight curbside. White glove service — inside placement, unpacking, and full assembly — is available; delivery method is confirmed during your commission conversation.
