We get asked to recommend a table size for a certain amount of people quite often. There’s an simple answer to this, and a more complex one. The simple answer is this:
For tight seating – 20″ to 24″ per person
For regular seating – 24″ to 30″ per person
For a spacious conference room – 30″ to 36″ per person
The more space and money you have, the more open you make the seating. When profitability is a concern, space or budget low, make it closer together.
