Description
The Glossy Crank Bar Table is the bar-height expression of the powder-coat crank line — the same fully mechanical height-adjust mechanism, the same hot-rolled steel fabrication, dressed in a gloss finish that makes a statement. The base adjusts between dining and bar height with a single hand-crank turn. No electricity, no motors, no failure points.
The shown configuration features a polished steel top with a powder-coat clear finish. Solid hardwood tops — mahogany, walnut, reclaimed boxcar oak, and cherry — are all available, hand-selected for figure and grain. All hardwood tops include a breadboard end. Optional locking casters with rubber tread available. Everything finalized during your commission conversation.
Complete the space with the Vintage Industrial casegoods collection.

I’ve seen something that looks exactly like this on another site. Is it the same piece?+
No. Vintage Industrial designs have been copied extensively since 2009, primarily by Asian manufacturers selling through direct-from-China storefronts. The pieces look similar in photos but weigh a quarter of what ours do — they’re not designed to last, they’re designed to sell at a cheap price. Vintage Industrial sells direct only, through retro.net. We have no other sales channels, no third-party retailers, no Amazon storefront. If you’re seeing something like this anywhere else, it’s a counterfeit. Every Vintage Industrial piece is built to order in our Chicago shop by hand, from hot-rolled steel and solid hardwood, with a 12+ week lead time.
