Since its debut in 2011, the Hure Table has become the cornerstone of our collection. Named after the legendary French machinist P. Hure, the original design was a tribute to the “Golden Age” of engineering—a time when tools were as beautiful as they were functional.

While the classic Hure remains a timeless favorite, we’ve spent time in the design lab imagining where this aesthetic could go next. From brutalist angles to high-luster futuristic finishes, here is a look at the “Hure Evolution” concepts that are pushing the boundaries of industrial luxury.

Aggressive, faceted, and impossible to ignore. This concept trades smooth curves for sharp, angular geometry. Finished in a distressed “Aged Red,” it treats the central gear mechanism as a piece of gallery art visible through an ultra-thick glass top. It’s less of a table and more of a functional sculpture.

In a complete departure from the “heavy” look, this concept explores organic, flowing steel. The base looks like it was poured into shape, supporting a precision-engineered gear system. It’s a beautiful marriage of “soft” organic shapes and “hard” mechanical precision.

Looking like the interior of a luxury Swiss watch, this high-luster concept focuses on complex clockwork. Every gear is polished to a mirror finish, turning the height-adjustment mechanism into a mesmerizing visual display of synchronized motion.

Designed for massive industrial lofts, this concept emphasizes the “connective tissue” of the Hure. The dual-base system is linked by a visible, synchronized drive shaft and oversized gears. The deep red finish against a raw concrete backdrop highlights the raw power of mechanical design.

This concept scales the Hure for the modern boardroom. Finished in a warm, sophisticated bronze patina, this version features an elongated span and a reinforced frame. The iconic arched legs remain, but the finish elevates the piece from a workshop relic to a high-end executive statement.

This concept is for those who love the “guts” of a machine. It features heavy-duty pistons, massive threaded bolts, and a central gear hub that looks like it was pulled from a steam engine. It’s a dense, powerful design that feels indestructible.

This monumental conference table concept reimagines the boardroom as a mechanical exhibit, elevating the industrial aesthetic to a grand, architectural scale. By utilizing an expansive sheet of ultra-thick glass, the design invites users to gaze into a complex “engine” of synchronized gears, drive shafts, and truss-inspired steel supports. The dark, hand-finished patina provides a sophisticated contrast to the bright, exposed clockwork, while the oversized central cogwheel—embossed with the iconic HURE branding—serves as a powerful visual anchor. It is a masterclass in structural transparency, turning heavy-duty engineering into a functional piece of sculptural machinery designed to anchor a high-stakes creative space.

In this iteration, we explored “density.” The base is wider and more grounded, with the gears integrated deep into the structure. It’s a perfect centerpiece for high-energy creative spaces where you want the furniture to provide a literal and metaphorical anchor.

The “Bridge Concept” Hure Table reimagines the standard boardroom centerpiece as an expansive mechanical exhibit, emphasizing architectural strength and structural honesty. This version utilizes a synchronized multi-base system linked by a prominent horizontal drive shaft and oversized gears, all meticulously detailed and fully visible through a sprawling, ultra-thick glass top. With its signature arched pillars finished in a darkened, hand-rubbed patina, the design feels like a reclaimed artifact of industrial history that has been precision-tuned for a high-stakes collaborative environment. It is a masterclass in “IndustriaLux” design, perfectly bridging the gap between raw, heavy-duty engineering and the refined elegance of a modern executive loft.

Moving away from curves entirely, this desk concept uses sharply angled steel plates and massive, exposed clockwork gears. Set in a minimalist concrete environment, it represents the intersection of industrial grit and modern architecture.

This executive desk concept pushes the Hure aesthetic into a realm of sleek, dark sophistication, designed to anchor a modern, brutalist workspace. Featuring a single, massive base built from heavy-gauge steel, the design centers on an oversized, hand-finished crank and a visible synchronized gear system that feels more like a precision engine than a piece of furniture. The use of an expansive glass top turns the entire structural mechanism into a visual exhibit, allowing the user to appreciate the raw power and geometry of the gunmetal-patina frame from every angle. It is a masterclass in “rugged luxury,” offering a functional, height-adjustable centerpiece for the executive who values both mechanical history and minimalist, high-end design.

This is the Hure of the year 2050. Using polished stainless and sharply faceted pillars, this design features “windows” into the internal gear-work. It feels like a piece of precision laboratory equipment—high-tech, clean, and futuristic.
