The Cant Table takes its name from the angled, canted geometry of its steel base — a form that introduces diagonal tension into a room without visual noise. Fabricated from hot-rolled steel, hand-selected for grain and character, the base is welded to precision and finished by hand.
Designer Notes
The cant angle was developed to create a base that reads as directional — it implies movement without introducing instability. From above, the geometry disappears into the top; from the side, it commands the room. The diagonal members are welded at precise angles and ground smooth, so the drama is in the form, not the finish. Every Cant Table is hand-welded to order in Phoenix, Arizona — lead time is typically 12 weeks or more from deposit.
