Schwinn Tandems are a blast to ride. You will always get tons of attention as they are such a rare site. I owned a mid 50s Built For Two which I bought for around $400. It had balloon tires and the rear seat was lower for a smaller, or female, rider. It weighed a ton and had a coaster brake to stop it.
