1970 Plymouth Superbird Image Gallery and Blog
The short lived but memorable model that actually came in as a modification of the already existing 1970 Plymouth Road Runner, 1970 Plymouth Superbird was mainly designed to match the beauty of Talladega. The car was identified with a protruding aerodynamic nosecone a massive rear and the specialized horn that had actually become the trademark of the 1970 Plymouth. The nosecone had a retractable headlight that added 19inches to the length of the car. It came in with a variety of engines as per the customer’s choice. It came in with a 426 Hemi engine or 440 Super Commando. The nosecone was what made a good impression on the road and set this vehicle apart from the others.
