Ford Fairlane is an automobile model from the Ford Company. These cars were sold by the company in the North American market between 1955 and 1971. It was given the name of Henry Ford’s estate, Fair Lane located in Dearborn, Michigan. When it was first built by the company in 1950, it was considered as a full sized car. It became a mid sized car in 1960’s. The 1964 models of Fairlane are made with the same body styles of 1963 model Fairlane. The 221 V8 engine was dropped and the new model introduced 260 as the base of V8. The “K- Code “horse power 289 V8 was continued in the 1964 Ford Fairlane also.
