1962 Amphicar Image Gallery and Blog
This two door 1962 Amphicar is one of the rare motors available in the 1960s. The distinctive feature of the Amphicar is that this one can be used on the road and also on water like a boat. It is powered by a 1147 cubic inch four cylinder engine which is mounted at rear and produces about 43 horsepower. It can reach a speed of 70 miles per hour on the road and about five and half nautical miles per hour on the water. The transmission is a four speed manual transmission.
