1934 Pierce Arrow Silver Arrow was a luxury car produced by Pierce Arrow, an American automobile company. The company was based on Buffalo, New York and was actively in the car market during the period from 1901 to1938.
Pierce Arrow Silver Arrow was literally a last attempt from the part of the Pierce Arrow Company to impress its royal customers. It was introduced in 1933 motor show held in New York. During the period of depression the price tag of $10000 was not attractive even to the wealthy. Pierce Arrow Silver Arrow, when actually came in the market for sale was not having many of the features that was in the car as exhibited in the motor show.
With serious financial problems the company was declared as insolvent in the year 1938 and in the same year all the assets of the company were sold in auction and the company was closed down forever.
