DeSoto Airflow was introduced the car market in the year 1934 by Chrysler Corporation through their DeSoto division. It was available in the market till 1936. DeSto was known for its innovative design that deviated from the traditional look of cars. DeSoto cars had very smooth exterior finish and interior comfort that provided more leg space to the passengers than any other cars in the market. It had a unique unibody system. With its tough body and weight distributing system travel in DeSoto was quite comfortable than any other cars of those days. Failure in adopting apt marketing strategies and the rumours spread about the safety of the car’s body was ultimately led to the withdrawal of DeSoto from the market by the company in 1936.
