1931 Chrysler Roadster Image Gallery and Blog
The first eight cylinder engine was launched with the 1931 Chrysler CD series and was considered to be the first of its kind. The inline six cylinder engine which the previous models possessed by the previous models was replaced by eight cylinder engine. It had almost 240 cubic inches and also produced 80hp. It was a little later that the windshield was made into a slanted appearance. The other options available were the dual side mount spare tires, rumble seats and also the front and rear bumpers.
