1926 Oakland Image Gallery and Blog
The 1926 Oakland cars were known to be budget cars introduced in lower-middle prices. The cost lied almost between the upper Chevrolets and the luxurious Oldsmobile's and Buicks. It was during the 1920s that the price of the vehicle rose very high and at the same time the demand also increased considerably. The engine used by the 1926 Oakland cars consisted of the Northway type of engine. Even though not a large producer, some of the magnificent touring and roadster cars were confined to the Oakland Company.
